Responsible for developing an annual IT Plan and providing necessary infrastructure and IT policies. Responsible for supporting all internal users within the IT infrastructure. Also responsible for overseeing all internal installations, testing, asset tracking, documenting and upgrading of hardware and software, which would include servers, infrastructure, desktops, remote users, printers and telephone system. Work closely with the management team to ensure that information technology continues to support the company’s mission.
o Hands on approach – responsible for executing daily tasks/duties along with other team members
o Manage IT staff and IT operations.
o Maintain maximum uptime for end users by coordinating and tracking service requests and repairs, troubleshooting and maintaining data center, user devices and communication links.
o Support ERP, CRM and E-commerce initiatives.
o Education of internal users on most effective and efficient methods to utilize technology.
o Provide leadership in the evaluation, selection and implementation of new information systems technologies.
o Upgrading of all new versions of software releases.
o Assist with full-scale implementation of IT Projects.
o Develop policies and procedures necessary to ensure the integrity of systems and data.
o Specific experience in the following areas is preferred:
o Blackberry Enterprise Server
o Microsoft SCCM
o Active Directory
o Disaster Recovery planning and Business continuity policy implementation
o Code repository setup and policy management
o Data center monitoring software
o SOC2 compliance
o VMWare 5.1
o VeriAdmin DC access software
o Change management
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
o Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology/Computer Science/Software Engineering or equivalent combination of education and experience.
o Strong demonstrated project, program and people leadership.
o Experience with testing and support on multiple hardware/software platforms.
o Excellent planning, consulting, problem solving and project management skills.
o Demonstrated effective communication, interpersonal and analytical skills.
o Experience with usage of industry best practices for metrics to improve processes and service delivery.
