SUMMARY: Plan, direct, or manage activities in such fields as application development, business process improvements and coordinate service support and infrastructure needs.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
Consult with customers (users), management, and technicians to assess computing needs and application requirements for Front-Office business systems (VISTA App Replacement).
Operate as a liaison and advocate for VISTA’s physician staffing businesses with various VISTA and Corporate support groups
Review and prepare project plans to coordinate activity and manage scope and schedule.
Stay abreast of advances in technology: network, wireless, sales & recruiting applications.
Meet with department heads, managers, supervisors, vendors, and others, to solicit cooperation and resolve problems.
Ensure deliverables meet required quality standards.
Ensure adequate levels of documentation are produced as part of the technical solution.
Develop and maintain a Communications Plan. Keep the business and IT communities appraised of project plans and related implications.
Ensure the hand-over to operational support (Infrastructure Support, Applications Support and
Produce status and other management reports.
Ensure business benefits can be realized or that risks inhibiting realization are highlighted
Direct daily operations of department, analyzing workflow, establishing priorities, developing standards and setting deadlines.
Assign and review the work of systems analysts and programmers
Promote a high-level of customer satisfaction by improving system performance and timely resolution of Help Desk issues.
Assure reasonable application and compliance of General Computing Controls (GCC’s)
To carry out other tasks as agreed within IT and division management.

Bachelor’s degree in information technology or related field required; master’s degree or additional related certification preferred.
Minimum four years management/leadership experience with small teams
Minimum six years of relevant technology leadership and management experience is required.
Prior experience leading departmental to large-scale business system projects
Project management experience
