  • Job Duties: • Manage multiple, complex, moderate to high risk enterprise projects; oversee completion of project activities and tasks relative to scope, schedule and budget • Develop project plans including objectives, phases, tasks, deliverables, resources and estimates, work schedules and assignments. • Maintain accurate and detailed project schedules, with regular tracking and reporting to sponsors and stakeholders. • Identify, analyze, and manage project risks, and ensure compliance with regulatory and audit requirements. Resolve or escalate problems before they disrupt the project schedule. • Identify and manage project resources, being realistic about requirements and capabilities. • Enhance department and organization reputation by accepting ownership for accomplishing new and different requests; explore opportunities to add value to job accomplishments. • Assist with the creation and enforcement of the PMO policies and procedures. Ensure that the projects are developed, implemented, and documented under organizational standards. • Enhance job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities; reading professional publications; maintaining personal networks; participating in professional organizations. • Be “forward-thinking”, constantly looking for ways to improve the current project lifecycle within the organization. • Mentor other members of the organization in project management, develop and conduct training, and provide project management consulting to business units. Skills/Abilities: Extremely well-organized self-starter who drives for results and works to meet or beat deadlines • Demonstrated ability to successfully lead cross-functional teams to achieve productive results. • Demonstrated communication skills, balance of tenacity and diplomacy with the ability to interact positively and effectively with other personnel at all levels of the organization. • Demonstrated strong presentation skills. • Demonstrated capability to handle multiple teams and multiple tasks simultaneously under strict deadlines. Education/Experience: • Bachelor's degree (BA/BS) from four-year college or university required. • Minimum 3 years of IT project management experience. • Project implementation experience required. ICD-10 experience is a big plus. • Demonstrated experience using project management software preferred (Project Server 2010, MS Project 2010, SharePoint). Mastery of MS Office, web technologies, and technology in general. • Project Management Professional (PMP) certification required or attainment within 2 years of placement in this position. • Knowledge & use of project management institute (PMI) methodology required. • IS Healthcare background strongly preferred.
