IT Consulting Managers lead government projects in designing and delivering innovative, high quality solutions on time, within budget, and to meet homeland security mission needs. Projects are in the DC metro area.

Responsibilities include:
Business transformation project management

Develop and manage program plans for stakeholder, process, and technology solutions to meet complex project objectives

Deliver on time, within budget, and exceed client expectations

Required Qualifications:
At least 5 years experience in program management related to consulting and/or information technology projects

Experience with government projects

Experience with all phases of the software development lifecycle

Experience in application development or IT management, and demonstrated skills in data management, information management, IT architecture, systems integration, and systems life cycle management

Experience gathering requirements, supporting design, coding, testing, and implementation of complex software projects on time and within budget

Experience with systems development and operations & maintenance projects

Experience managing all aspects of a project: Planning, estimating, managing, and reporting: risk, cost, schedule, and quality

Experience with Microsoft (MS) Project or similar project management tools

Strong writing skills

Bachelor's degree

U.S. citizenship / ability to get a clearance

Additional Preferred skills:
PMP certification desired

Experience with large-tier consulting company

Experience in homeland security, border security, or law enforcement

Experience with the Rational suite or a similar product

Experience with authoring task-order level proposals

Experience collecting and evaluating metrics

Active Secret or Top Secret security clearance desired

CMMI Level 3 Practices
