Responsible for providing effective management of IT projects by applying standard, defined methodology and providing the leadership skills necessary to control the project tasks. Manage the key project artefacts and share accountability with the project leadership team for successful project delivery.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
• Develop plans for controlling the scope, schedule and costs for any project assigned to the team.
• Definition and preparation of project work plans and project deliverables
• Monitor the project execution to ensure the agreed plans are being followed and take necessary corrective action if progress deviates from the agreed plans.
• Using formal project methodology throughout the whole project lifecycle to ensure that all elements are being effectively managed.
• Create change control documentation to explain changes to the corrective baseline and ensure that approved changes are implemented.
• Develop appropriate communication plans to the various stakeholder groups.
• Prepare appropriate project documentation including project charters and status reports.
• Collect and document project risks, assessment of these risks and formulate mitigation.
• Day to day management of the project team
• Take overall responsibility for progress and use of resources.
• Complete lessons learned reports on the completion of a project.
• Any other ad hoc duties as may be assigned

REQUIRED EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE
Minimum of 5 years IT project management or business analyst experience
Knowledge or experience in ERP
Relevant knowledge of system implementation
PREFERRED EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE
Bachelor’s degree in a related subject
Project Management Professional certification
Good functional understanding of supply chain or accounting business processes
Experience with managing projects within an oracle EBS or an ERP environment
Competent in the use of MS project, MS Visio and a process flow tool.
