IT Project Manager
Seeking a Project Manager who can provide project leadership and support in the specification, development, project monitoring, quality assurance, and testing of enterprise-wide network systems for clients. The candidate will lead client and user requirements-gathering workshops and define project scopes, goals, and deliverables. Responsible for defining project tasks and resource requirements, developing full-scale project plans, managing the project budget, and allocating resources, along with tracking project deliverables and timelines. Must be familiar with a broad range of network technologies. Wireless and/or radio systems engineering experience, particularly in the public safety sector, is strongly desired. Must have strong team building, documentation, and organizational abilities. A bachelor’s degree in computer science or engineering and 10+ years of project management or public safety interoperable-communications experience are desired. Experience with federal or state grant programs is a plus. Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills and the ability to interact with diverse stakeholders, business leaders, and coworkers. Position is based in Albany, NY, with regular travel to New York City.
