This position manages highly complex ITS Infrastructure projects. Incumbent will track and report on assigned projects contained within the ITS project portfolio. Incumbent will establish and direct efforts of multiple project work teams and related resources to successfully plan, develop, test, and implement ITS initiatives. Incumbent will assume leadership role for assigned events on behalf of the executive sponsor.
Incumbent will manage project resource allocations, schedules, time tracking, and quality reporting for IT leaders via a variety of PMO tools, dashboards and departmental balanced scorecards. Incumbent will create and maintain service portals for knowledge base storage, and coordinate with corporate PMO department to ensure customer expectations align to business engagement processes and service management lifecycle methodologies.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS Track multiple project plans, schedules, milestones, and deliverables using appropriate tools; forecast resource utilization and capacity; identify and collect relevant metrics to get baseline and ongoing trending for process improvements Ensure projects are completed on budget and schedule, and that they meet the business needs set forth in the project specifications Develop highly technical, detailed project plans, including defined project scope; Manage project scope stages, to include initiation, planning, definition, verification, and scope change control Coordinate and schedule meetings and conference calls with necessary resources, whether internal or external, to ensure participation needed to ensure success of project timelines Support development of major project proposals and robust project plans utilizing core project management methodology Follow proper governance for ITS projects to set and continually manage project expectations with team members and other stakeholders Ensure projects satisfy needs for which they were undertaken by including quality planning, quality assurance, and quality control Create and maintain knowledge base portal for Services in SharkPro that includes all documentation, project plans, network diagrams, dashboards, report summaries Engage with IT leadership on regular basis to ensure project information is communicated in timely manner through communication planning, information distribution, performance reporting, and administrative closure Exercise leadership over project teams, which will include employees from other departments, and external vendors and consultants; ensure duties are performed by project team members; hold members accountable while maintaining productive, positive relationships

OTHER RESPONSIBILITIES Develop a strong working relationship with assigned business group operations and engineering teams which results in increased cooperation and mutual support in achieving each other's goals Forecast resource utilization and capacity; assign resources to approved change events based upon established priority Review and approve the evaluation of change events to determine functional and staff resources required to accomplish the change, and the suggested project team structure as well as project plans and milestones Monitor progress of change events and assist in resolution of issues and delays impacting successful project conclusion Resolve issues arising from requests to change business specifications or defined tasks Critique completed projects to determine variations from established processes and identify opportunities for process improvement Ensure project information is communicated in a timely manner through communication planning, information distribution, performance reporting and administrative closure Ensure project processes identify, analyze and respond to the project risk by including risk identification, risk quantification, risk response development and risk response control Perform other duties as assigned

Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or Business Management related disciplines, or equivalent combination of education and experience in information technology required. Project Management certification (PMP) and Scrum (CRM1) certification preferred. ITIL v3, MOF, Six Sigma, certifications preferred.
Experience: Three (3) years' experience with Project Management in technologies related to infrastructure of Information Technologies; including SAN, telephony, and data communications, VoIP and SIP technologies, Data Center technologies, and systems, network, and application monitoring.
Experience managing project budget of more than $5 million. Two (2) years' experience coordinating and supporting IT business processes, scheduling and budgeting, preferred.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES Knowledgeable in the end-to-end integration and functioning of infrastructure systems including LANs, WANs, storage, servers and virtualization Strong skills in negotiating program requirements, developing resource requirements, and managing geographically dispersed "virtual" teams Advanced proficiency in word processing and spreadsheet computer software applications; Microsoft Project, SharkPro, Visio, Outlook and SharePoint (or similar programs); Extensive experience utilizing earned value project management tools, preferably Microsoft Enterprise Project Knowledge of large scale application development, delivery, and deployment Experience implementing and using tools needed for performance management and trouble ticketing; experience with creating dashboards, scorecards and other presentation of KPI status Ability to manage multiple projects, work in fast-paced environment, and meet deadlines; Ability to lead a project team comprised of technical and business resources Demonstrated depth and breadth of IT project management experience in multiple functional areas such as: planning, integration, scope, time, cost, quality, human resources, communication, risk, and procurement Excellent communication, decision making, and problem solving skills; communication skills include facilitation, negotiation, and conflict resolution, and the ability to write and present information in various forms Knowledge of Enterprise Service Bus (ESB) platforms, ITIL framework, Service Oriented Applications (SOA), Data Warehouse, Data Analytics platforms and frameworks Ability to solve complex problems and model the business and financial impact of proposed scenarios; Must be comfortable working in ambiguous and/or stressful situations Demonstrated self-direction and proactive approach and ability to think beyond the immediate problem
