Requires a bachelor’s degree in computer science and two years of work experience in systems administration. Additional work experience as a systems administrator can be substituted for up to two years of education. Preference will be given to an MCSE certification and or knowledge of Visual Studio specifically C#. Thorough understanding of personal computer hardware and software, specifically Windows 7, Windows Server 2008, Linux Ubuntu, Samba, programming experience in C# and working knowledge of Microsoft desktop applications. Must have technical/mechanical knowledge and experience of above systems for installation and maintenance. Additional requirements include successful completion of the interview process and reference checks.

Summary of Work:
Responsible for the agency network including but not limited to any network problems, server maintenance, system security policies, system security implementation and testing, development & maintenance of system usage policies, backups, disaster recovery planning and testing, end user support, periodic training of system usage, maintain and/or assist in the development on in-house applications, and other data processing duties that may arise. (Equipment installation involves lifting, bending, and stooping.)
