IT Operational Support Job Description

The Encompass Helpdesk provides Operational services for the Encompass environment to internal and external customers. This IT Operations position is responsible for Level 1 support through monitoring job failures, analyzing failure details and following procedures to resolve issues.

Position Type Full Time: 2 nd Shift (4:00pm-Midnight)

  • Provide phone support
  • Monitor and respond quickly to issues reported to the IT Helpdesk
  • Monitor Production jobs/Notifications for failures and take steps necessary to correct
  • Utilize internal bug tracking tool for reporting and documenting issues
  • Escalate necessary issues to on-call Developer
  • Assist in training of new team members
  • Bachelor’s degree
  • Working knowledge of S/FTP, Networks
Preferred Requirements
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, or other related field
  • .NET programming knowledge
