This person will join a group of IT professionals supporting a dynamic and growing company transitioning from start-up to a commercial biopharma company. He/she will pride themselves on their customer service, working with local and remote end users to resolve computing issues. This position will report directly to the IT Service Desk Manager.

Application support for Microsoft Office and other applications
Desktop, laptop, mobile device support
Education of end users on new hardware and software being deployed
Can work independently with manager guidance, may prioritize daily tasks
Participates on projects, may lead on small IT projects

BA/BS or Associates Degree in related field with relevant work experience
2-5 years as an IT professional supporting an end user community
Excellent communication skills with emphasis on customer service and education
Proven troubleshooting and diagnostic skills
Experience with computer provisioning and patching Windows PC’s in a Windows 2008 Server environment
Hands on experience with Microsoft Office Products, and remote support
Solid understanding of Windows 7 and XP

The following qualifications are a plus:
Active Directory and Server 2008 administration experience
Mobile Device Management
Cisco VPN
IP telephony
