Position : IT Support Specialist, Master Level
Experience Level: (Advanced, 5 - 7 Years Experience). Maintains, analyzes, troubleshoots, and repairs computer systems, hardware and computer peripherals. Documents, maintains, upgrades or replaces hardware and software systems. Supports and maintains user account information including rights, security and systems groups. May require degree in a related area or 5 - 7 years of experience in the field or in a related area. Familiar with a variety of the fields concepts, practices, and procedures. Relies on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals. Performs a variety of complicated tasks. Typically reports to a project leader or manager. A wide degree of creativity and latitude is expected.
Client Specific Requirements:
This position will be for pre-building Windows 7 systems and executing deployments at various customer sites in and around the St. Louis area. Post Deployment Support (PDS) will be performed the day following deployments. Candidates should be capable and willing to switch between build room, deployment and PDS assignments as needed. Deployments will occur after normal business hours and run until finished. It is anticipated that deployments will be completed before mid-night.
The ideal candidate must have extensive Windows Vista/Windows 7 troubleshooting experience. Office 2007/2010 problem solving experience is a must. Outlook configuration skills are also required. Leadership skills are a plus. Clear oral and written communication skills are necessary.
