Summary: Resolve technical problems and provide hands-on support for internal computer hardware, software, and network systems. Alerts management to recurring problems and patterns of problems. Assist with maintenance, and administration of MRO database. JOB SPECIFICATIONS: 5 to 10 years of experience providing direct customer support in a Windows environment Knowledge of basic hardware and software troubleshooting Ability to install operating systems and software Solid understanding of how to use, and help others use MS Office and other client-side software 3 to 5 years of experience of Systems Administration experience in a medium to large IT environment. Supporting and troubleshooting Audio/Visual and Virtual Teleconference equipment Automated system imaging and software delivery software experience Digital and IP phone systems including unified messaging PREFERRED : Bachelors’ degree in Computer Science or related field CompTIA A+ certification Microsoft Certified IT Professional CA Service Desk, Software Delivery, NSM, and eTrust Siemens and Cisco phone systems Symantec NetBackup, Foundation Suite, and Cluster Server PHYSICAL DEMANDS / REQUIREMENTS: Ability to lift and carry IT equipment generally less than 70 pounds
