This position is responsible for servicing a broad range of IT needs, through a combination of technical expertise and customer service. Support services include systems monitoring, applications support, IT Help Desk coverage, coordination and referral of support requests, and general IT department support.
  • Respond to requests for assistance in a timely and professional manner in accordance with IT service standards
  • Monitors IT systems and provides general IT applications support
  • Troubleshoot and resolve a wide variety of Tier 1 and Tier 2 service activities
  • Support IT vendor setup and basic new user training
  • Provide overflow support for end-user hardware and software needs
  • Other duties as assigned to ensure first class internal and external IT support

  • Bachelors degree in Information Technology or related field required, OR an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience
  • 1-2 years’ experience working in a technical support capacity required, with experience supporting an IT department preferred
  • Must have excellent attention to detail and quality, strong customer service skills, and organizational ability
  • Proven skills troubleshooting a wide variety of technical support issues
  • Advanced working knowledge of Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.)
