IT Support Specialist
Provide support services to user departments in identifying, evaluating, implementing and maintaining computer based solutions to business problems. Ongoing responsibilities include: hardware and software support for Windows PCs, assisting with system administration of Windows NT and Phone Systems
User Support: Desktop Application Support: SAP, Quality Tracking, Payroll, Attendance Tracking, PC software, new account requests
Hardware Trouble-shoot and Repair: Install software and install new PCs, coordinate requests for new PCs, hardware and software trouble-shooting and repairs for CDA and non-CDA PCs, install new software when required by division projects
Division Project Support and Coordination: work with division and local plant staff on implementation of division driven projects (new software systems, new productions lines)
Computer Training Coordinator: coordinate and/or conduct training at the plant for local and division projects, provide coordination of computer training through local vendors.
System One Payroll Clerk: serves as payroll clerk for System One (Temp Labor Force) payroll processing and backs up the regular payroll clerk when she is not in the plant
Software development: PC application development (MS Access, Visual Basic)
Minimum Education and Experience Requirements:
Education: Associates Degree or equivalent in Information Technology, Computer Science or related field.
Experience: Minimum 3-5 years of experience in computer end user support and application development
Minimum knowledge, skills and abilities required to successfully perform major duties/responsibilities:
*Ability to communicate effectively w/employees having a wide range of technical expertise
*Knowledge of personal computers and printers
*Knowledge of Windows NT Server and Windows XP
*Knowledge of network communications
*Knowledge of program languages
*Knowledge of database concepts
