IT/IS Support Team Leader
XP Power is a designer and manufacturer of electronic of power supplies which it supplies to the electronics industry. It focuses on the Healthcare, Industrial and Technology markets. It has operations throughout North America, Europe and Asia and is listed on the London Stock Exchange.
Revenues are in excess of US$150 million. The company has shown exceptional growth over a period of time.
Due to our growth a position has been created for an ambitious individual to lead our North America IT group who is able to take initiative and work independently.
In this role, you will ensure day-to day smooth running, fault-fixing and seamless continuity of current business IT/IS systems (Microsoft Based Networks and OS), as well as defining future operating needs. You will support approx 120+ users across 2 Major and several regional sites (many of which work remotely) with resolutions and maintenance work, leading the current team of 2 IT support analysts and undertake various project work, manage third party suppliers and be heavily involved in IT purchasing and planning. This will be a hands-on role, so as well as management responsibilities, the successful candidate will be supporting all levels of IT issues, projects and problems. Taking a technical lead from the Global IT Manager, we are seeking a regional IT IT Support Team leader to take responsibility for the IT operations of the North American business and work with minimum supervision and maximum accountability, hopefully progressing into a role where we can give more responsiblity.
The successful candidate will have experience in all the above and will be looking for a challenging and diverse role. We also welcome strong IT support candidates looking for a first step into a management role.

- Lotus Notes/Domino messaging and database Environment (Release 7 or up)
- Windows Network, OS and Server Environment
- Hands on desktop and remote support.
Previous Management or Team Leader Experience
An ambitious individual able to take responsibility and work with minimum supervision
Experience supporting mobile devices including android, iphone and blackberry operating systems
Management of budgets and vendor relationships
