IT Support Engineer (including Desktop, Server and Helpdesk)
We are looking for an IT Support Engineer to join our existing team of IT Support Engineers in our international consultancy business. We provide advice and technical support for the development of natural resources, land, property and infrastructure as well as the management of the environment and the health and safety of people.
You will ideally have worked within a Microsoft based environment providing 2nd Line Support or greater. Installing, configuring, supporting and troubleshooting Windows 2003 and 2008 Server, Active Directory, Group Policy, MS Office, Windows XP and 7, MS Outlook. Avaya phone system experience would be beneficial.
PC and server hardware support will also be highly beneficial in the Dell environment, as will knowledge of Oil and Gas applications such as Landmark, SMT, Schlumberger, Auto Cad and Arc GIS. Other experience required includes providing telephone, remote and desk side based Microsoft support to a wide variety of users across USA.
Ideally, but not required, you will be MCP certified or higher

Windows XP, 7 Professional & MS Office 2007, 2010
Windows 2003\2008 Server
Symantec Backup Exec
