DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Implement approved hardware or configuration changes to production systems;
Administers Active Directory infrastructure, policies, privileged access permissions, roles, and group policies.
Maintain, optimize, and monitoring system performance - all platforms.
Maintain electronic messages systems such as Exchange and Lync.
Monitor daily systems backup and recovery jobs.
Monitor security violations to the production systems and escalate to the IT Security Officer.
Provide third level support for end users of the systems and workstation applications.
Provide documentation and training for Help Desk partners for workaround solutions and problem resolution.
Implement and maintain approved standardized hardware and configuration changes across global network routers, switches, cables, load balancers, wireless access points/controllers and all the other hardware that handles LAN and WAN data/voice/video traffic and security.
Maintain and monitor network performance and security.
Implement privileged access to IT network systems.
Provide third level and Help Desk overflow support as prescribed by management for end users of the network.
Monitor security violations to the network and escalate to the IT Security Officer.
Troubleshoot LAN/WAN network issues to resolution.
Maintain strong working relationships with IT partner teams, colleagues, clients and vendors. Work with colleagues, clients, and vendors to interpret, exchange, and/or document administrative and technical information; identify strategic and tactical requirements and solutions.
Contribute to the delivery of medium to high complexity process and training documentation driven either individually or as part of a larger team effort.
Triage and troubleshoot moderate to complex IT issues to resolution.
Assume ownership for the delivery of large scale solutions to trending problems including network and email accessibility issues through collaboration with subject matter experts and the use of industry standard problem solving methodologies (example: intermittent network drops).
Contribute to the delivery of medium to high complexity process and training documentation driven either individually or as part of a larger team effort.
Excellent communication skills.

Qualifications:
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS, KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES
Learning IT systems, standards, and best practices
Experience with industry standard proactive problem management methodologies.
Experience with root cause data analysis and pareto charts (comparative bar charts).
Ability to drive workarounds and solutions for identified issues.
Ability to document content (knowledge base solutions) in a clear and concise manner.
Extensive experience with Microsoft Exchange, Active Directory, desktop operating systems, hardware and peripherals, pc troubleshooting, configuration and repair, mobile & telecom configuration, printer configuration and maintenance, videoconferencing troubleshooting and configuration, VPN configuration and troubleshooting.
High School Diploma
Certificates in Microsoft Server OS
Developing, Junior
1-3 years direct experience
PHYSICAL DEMANDS:
Must be able to lift 30 lbs.
