As the IT Systems and Network Specialist in a Mac-majority shop, you will oversee device lifecycle from purchase through EOL, including provisioning, securing, patching, and monitoring. Through supervision of technical support specialists and managing the ticket queue, you will ensure our internal network is functionally optimal. You’ll also oversee the lifecycle of some Windows and Linux devices. We’ll rely on you to make sure the office is wired and Wi-Fi networks are functioning properly. You’ll also be available to support special events requiring on-call AV and video conferencing support. Overall, you will be responsible for streamlining IT processes and solutions including security, documentation and best practices.

With 3+ years in a technical support role you have proven experience working in Mac, Linux, and Windows environments. You’re particularly comfortable in Mac environments and can navigate OS X, OS X Server with ease. Munki, Puppet and launchd you say? You’re comfortable with using all three! TCP/IP? You know layers one through four incredibly well. On top of all the technical aspects of your job that you do so well, you have excellent interpersonal skills and enjoy working with cross-functional teams ranging from Customer Support to Marketing. You also have experience building teams and enjoy mentoring others.
