Community Education Centers (CEC) is a leading provider of residential and outpatient community corrections programs. We are currently seeking a Systems Administrator to work out of our IT office in Marlborough, Massachusetts.

Summary of Position
Provides support to end users on a variety of issues; responds to telephone calls, and other requests for technical support; identifies, researches, and resolves technical problems regarding software and computer equipment; tracks and monitors problems to ensure timely resolution; keeps end users apprised of status of requests; utilizes excellent customer service skills in all interactions.

Installs and maintains LAN / WAN hardware and software; evaluates hardware and software requirements and capabilities and makes recommendations for meeting business needs and improving performance and availability; coordinates installation, configuration, and upgrades to systems; leads small to large-scale projects locally and at remote sites; troubleshoots network and computer peripherals. Position is 50% support and 50% System Administrator role. Some Travel Required.

Position Requirements
The qualified candidate will have a Bachelor's Degree in computer science or related field from a regionally accredited university, or equivalent, with 2-5 years' experience required. Demonstrated competency in project management in WAN, LAN, Server and desktop environment. Strong communication skills. Must be able to explain technical concepts to non-technical users. Ability to work in a team environment and adapt to changing priorities and conditions.

MCSA (Microsoft Certified Solutions Associate) (optional)
