InuTeq LLC, a subsidiary of ASRC Federal, is currently seeking a Tester to join our team at DOL in Washington, DC.

Key Role:
Use your demonstrated Testing expertise to support all aspects of testing including functional, regression, performance, usability, and acceptance. The Tester will perform the following:

Assist in the development of test strategy and test plans

Create accurate test cases and test data from requirements

Develop automated test scripts and document test results

Develop and executes regression testing approach

Apply hands-on-experience of testing on the web, J2EE, and Web environments

Use of defect tracking tools(s) – ClearQuest is desired

Work with minimal supervision

Plan, manage time based on schedules, and provide status updates as required

Resolve issues with “out of the box” thinking

Handle or mitigate problem situations

Basic Qualification:
Bachelors degree with a minimum of 4 years related experience.

2 years of related experience may be substituted in lieu of a degree

3 to 4 years of hands-on testing experience testing both client and web-based (J2EE) applications with financial and claims systems preferred

Strong skills in SQL queries on IBM DB2 or Oracle databases

Additional Qualifications:
Strong hands-on experience in manual and automated testing using IBM’s Rational tools in a web-based environment preferred.
