Under the direction of the Supervisor, Testing: Delivers quality functionality within specified timeframes; using HP suite of tools which includes Quality Center, to support testing on project and to lead medium to large scale testing efforts. Serves as an integral member of an enterprise-wide testing team, and is responsible for following established standards and best practices, and reporting test results to the test lead clearly and accurately. Leads testing on medium/large scale projects; including creation of detailed testing schedule. Creates test plan/strategies for projects to ensure the quality of MVP s core applications and systems. Provides coaching and support to IT and Business testing resources. Performs risk assessment, impact analysis and works with technical and business personnel to resolve issues and develop mitigation plans. Works with developers, business users and project team to resolve defects. Participates in requirements gathering/reviews and designs. Performs other duties as assigned.POSITION QUALIFICATIONS
Minimum Education: Bachelor s Degree or equivalent combination of education and business experience required in Health Care/Business Administration, Software Quality Assurance, Computer Science or related field.Minimum Experience: 5+ years test analyst experience. 3+ years leading test efforts on medium/largest scale projects and coordinating test resources
Proven experience in successfully applying best practices/concepts
Proven experience in utilizing test tools and delivering quality products. Experience in testing large business system. updates/changes and working multiple projects simultaneously Required Skills: Excellent understanding of standard formal testing methodologies and best practices.Demonstrated ability to lead projects and people through the testing life cycle process. Working knowledge of automated testing tools and the ability to determine the best use of those tools. Excellent project management, time management, troubleshooting and analytical skills. Highly self-motivated and directed, with exceptional customer service orientation and a dedication to meeting deadlines and ensuing quality delivery. Excellent interpersonal skills: (e.g., partnering, conflict management, mentoring), with strong verbal and written communication skills. Proven ability to interact with all levels of business, technical and end users. Must be comfortable working in a team environment as well as independently, and possess a sense of accountability and urgency in completing assignments. Knowledge of SQL. Preferred Skills: Understanding of health care business/deliver process preferred. Facets, MaxMC and Macess experience a plus. Software Testing Certification or ITIL a plus
