**THIS IS A TIME-LIMITED POSITION**
Provide planning, and implementation of ITIL processes for IT. Design and develop service support processes including Configuration, Release, Problem as well as other processes. Individual will lead process development for each process, lead each process team and ensure integration of processes across each team as well as the enterprise. Individual will also be responsible for leading development of process policies and procedures, determining key process performance indicators and evaluating tools to support defined ITIL processes.

Proven ability to develop successful relationships throughout all levels of the organization (e.g., executive sponsors, business stakeholders, and project team members)
Demonstrates a thorough knowledge and use of project management methodology, tools and techniques
Displays an extensive understanding of process improvement initiatives with a focus on proven methodologies such as ISO or ITIL best practices
Demonstrated aptitude for developing a variety of project documentation
Experience communicating to a variety of audiences (e.g, project stakeholders, management, executive sponsors) in multiple ways such as status reviews, presentations, e-mails, and other forms of project / process documentation
Exhibits leadership skills in guiding team members to analyze, define and resolve project issues. (i.e., team lead experience, liaison)
Minimum Education and Experience Requirements:
Bachelor's degree with nine credit hours in programming and three years of experience in business applications consulting or development; or equivalent combination of training and experience. All degrees must be received from appropriately accredited institutions.
Management Preference: Candidates with ITIL certification
The NC Department of Revenue (NCDOR) has a career banding compensation plan which encourages and rewards competency development. Recruitment for this postion will target the journey level of the BTA Specialist class. Salary range will be commensurate with the applicant's competencies as well as budget, equity and labor market conditions. For recruitment purposes, this position is considered to be equivalent to salary grade 81.
If there are no candidates identified at the journey level, management may consider applicants at the contributing competency level ($50,600-$80,797) which is equivalent to salary grade 78.
