We are seeking an Information Architect / Interaction Designer who will work on digital oriented projects from start to finish.
? Work closely with copywriters, visual designers, and programmers
? Become familiar with a brand and its messaging
? Establish interactive approaches for digital tactics
? Develop comprehensive sitemaps, wireframes, mockups, and prototypes to effectively communicate interaction and design ideas
? Develop style guides and annotated functional specifications for internal or external development teams
? Present user experience solutions to internal teams and clients
? Evaluate layouts from a usability perspective
? Shepherd projects through completion to ensure IA and UX goals are met
The ideal candidate should possess:
? Ability for critical thinking with good design sense, strong understanding of technical concepts, and an eye for making things better
? Understanding of fundamental usability and aesthetic principles
? Experience in graphic design, icon production, and style guide development for user interfaces
? Strong knowledge of applicable programs and animation tools
? Strong analytical skills and great attention to detail
? Ability to collaborate effectively in cross-functional design and development teams
? Excellent communication skills
Preferred qualifications:
? Bachelor's degree in either Graphics Design, Visual Communications, or Multimedia
? 3-4 years of relevant work experience, including demonstrated experience in designing user interfaces
? Working understanding of interactive front-end technologies (i.e. HTML/CSS, Javascript, Flash, browser and platform constraints)
? OmniGraffle, Visio, or similar software experience
? Excellent communication and teamwork skills
? Pharma interactive agency experience a plus
