Overview: This position is a member of the Information Risk Strategy and Management(IRSM) and the Access Management Complex team. The team is responsible for identity and access management technology design and implementation. Team designs solutions for various authentication and authorization directories within Chevron, that result in enabling better security, higher compliance, and more complete connectivity (3rd Parties/JVs).
The Access Management Complex team executes 5-10 enterprise wide solutions per year dealing with identity and access management. Significant time is spent on business engagement, business analysis, project participation, collaboration with global IT function, planning and execution, complex process improvement, complex technical problem solving, and continuous participation in activities related to strategy and business requirement alignment. Team manages the enterprise wide execution of Identity & Access Management Strategy which is a 5-year architecture plan to realize next generation of how employees, contractors, Joint Ventures, and External 3rd Parties can access Chevron network resources.

Responsibilities for this position may include but are not limited to:
Leads and participates in global design and implementation projects as a solution architect with involvement of numerous IT professionals and business partners.
Develops and implements processes to maintain the reliability, security, and efficiency of Identity & Access Management asset components located in over 85 countries where Chevron operates.
Responsible for establishing global IT standards for Windows Active Directory, AD LDS, Oracle (OIM) and Microsoft (FIM) Provisioning systems, including Technical Control Review Board (TCRB) participation, provisioning processes and on-going enhancements/new capabilities in alignment with Security Asset Lifecycle Plans.
Provides consulting and level 3 operational support for identity and access management technologies.
Provide direction and input into the 1-5 year asset lifecycle management plans for the asset component in alignment with strategy defined with cooperation from Technology Management & Architecture-Security Technologies team.
Identifies continuous improvement areas, creates new Lean Sigma processes and process automation to support step changes in operational efficiencies.
Responsible for translating Identity & Access Management strategy roadmap to implementation projects.
Develops and shares best practices with the other support teams that constitute the operational support teams (Blues/Rhythm) in Manila, San Ramon and Houston.
Minimum of 3 years of direct or equivalent relevant experience (projects, technologies).
Demonstrated ability to learn new technologies quickly.
Demonstrated ability to conduct stakeholder engagements, gather requirements, and translate to functional and design specifications for solutions.
Demonstrated ability in working with systems integrators, and developers.
Demonstrated ability to prioritize work, and juggle multiple long-term complex tasks.

IT Infrastructure familiarity or proficiency with any or all of the following (or related technologies): Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, AD LDS, FIM, OIM, Linux/UNIX, Virtual Directories, Federated systems, gateway technologies, and other security and access technologies.
BA/BS in Computer Science, MIS or Information Technology or equivalent experience.
Project participation and/or management experience.
Experience in defining application lifecycles, and performing business analyst roles
Lean Sigma experience or certification.
Project management certification.
Experience in any aspect of business unit IT (such as Upstream or Downstream).
Experience in information management, directory technologies, network security, large application support.
Strong presentation skills including the ability to interface with other parts of the IT function and external parties.
Ability to communicate clearly across cultural and geographic boundaries.
Ability to work independently but in alignment with team goals.
Experience in building standard operating procedures and processes.
