Position Summary:
The Division of Information Services is currently seeking a talented individual to fill the role of Identity Services Specialist. The Identity Services Specialist is responsible for the operation and support of the technology, services, and processes of the Identity Management and Provisioning solutions at the University. This includes ensuring the enterprise directory and portal services are administered and maintained in a manner that supports University goals. This position is a technical contributor of the Identity Management team. This team is responsible for three core services: Identity Management, Portal Services, and Directory Services. Identity Management focuses on the following: account/resource provisioning; all digital and physical identity creation and management including but not limited to system identifiers/credentials, smart cards, tokens, etc.; account self-service (distribution, maintenance, etc.); identity mapping systems and related applications, such as the generation of network identifiers; role management; federated solutions & integration ( SAML , etc.); regulatory compliance. Portal Services entails: Luminis administration (system upgrades, availability, etc); service integration (session mgmt, single sign-on, email, etc.); establishing/maintaining portal technical direction; primary vendor interface. Directory Services encompasses: eLDAP administration (upgrades, availability, etc.); eLDAP schema design; data integrity; directory architecture ( LDAP , Active Directory, Domino directory, PDS , Google and other external directory services, etc.); service integration (authentication, authorization, directory services, reporting, and auditing). To ensure that essential services are provided to the university community, the employee will be required to work outside their regular working hours as needed.

The ideal candidate will hold a minimum of a Bachelor’s Degree in a related field, preferably with continuing studies and course work. At least 2 years of experience in providing authentication, authorization, and provisioning services with Oracle Enterprise Directory and Microsoft Active Directory a must. Two years experience in the administration (installation, tuning, resource management, troubleshooting) and development (workflow, forms, active sync, xpress scripts, reconciliation) of the Oracle Waveset 7.x and 8.x product. At least 1 years of experience in securely integrating services within an enterprise portal environment utilizing single-sign on, session management, etc. Working experience of SungardHE Luminis & Banner, SungardHE CPIP and/or CAS , LDAP , Active Directory, and meta-directory technologies, etc. a must. General understanding of SAML , Shibboleth, smart card technologies a must. Development experience with Java, HTML , XML , Python, Groovy, and/or Perl a must. Working experience in developing Oracle Waveset data load processes and ability to quantify specific data quality issues. Working experience in developing Oracle Waveset reconciliation (both full and partial reconciliation). Experience building custom reports within the Oracle Waveset product. Working experience with SPML generations and consumption within the Oracle Waveset product. Working knowledge of enterprise database principles (Oracle, MS- SQL , etc.) a must. Operating Systems administration (Sun Solaris, Microsoft 32 & 64 bit OS, and Linux) a strong plus. Ability to take a broad view of his/her position and take initiative to communicate, interact, and cooperate with others. Excellent interpersonal and communication (written & verbal) skills a must. Demonstrated continued professional growth and development. Demonstrated ability to write detailed documentation and to participate in presentations. Ability to multitask own priorities while assisting the rest of the identity team with debugging and resolving issues/roadblocks. ITIL Foundation certified is a plus. Be a Self motivated individual. Has the ability to multi-task multiple projects and assigned tasks.
