Function as a Mission Payload Operator/Sensor Operator (MPO), for extended overseas deployment(s) in support of real-world operations (12 month cycle) in Afghanistan. Develop and maintain flight support materials and payload specific checklists/procedures; operate the mission payload, gathering pertinent data per mission parameters. Assist in mission planning, coordinating data collection requirements. Ensure safe, effective and efficient ground and flight objectives are achieved
BS degree and at least six years of related payload specific test or operational experience. Also requires experience as a flight operations crew member or flight test engineering. An active DoD Secret Security clearance is also required.
Payload Sensor Operator experience, flight test operations and/or engineering experience are highly desirable. Experience using aircraft-mounted payload sensors in the maritime environment is strongly desired.
