We are unable to sponsor H1b candidates at this time.” Responsibilities: The primary role of the IT data Analyst is to function as an interpreter for business and technical staff, translating concepts and terminology and generally bridging gaps in understanding. Familiarity with the technology & business process and underlying data allows the individual to function as the communications channel between technical and business users. He will also be responsible to discover, profile & analyze the source systems data to come up with data element mapping document between source systems and BDW.

Ensures that the delivered solution fulfills the needs of the business (should be involved in decisions related to the business requirements) Assists in determining the data integration system project scope, time and required resources Provides support and analysis of data discovery, data collection, data mapping, aggregation and balancing functions Performs requirements analysis, data mapping documentation, unit testing, ad-hoc reporting, user support and project leadership Validate execution of Data Governance tasks and align to overall Data Governance strategy Prioritizes and balances competing priorities Required Skills: Experience working with ETL tools such as Informatica (or) Datastatge and profiling tools such as Data explorer. Strong SQL (Structured Query Language) and data extraction skills - ability to extract and manipulate data from common data base systems (Oracle, SQL Server, etc). Experience: Bachelor's degree in related area (Computer Science, Information Systems, and Engineering) or an equivalent combination of education and experience. 8+ years data analysis, design, testing experience in Data Warehouse.

System Knowledge - Understands business and customer requirements that drive the analysis and design of technical solutions. Should be able to create & present data analysis documentation. Strong background in working with data warehouses and data marts based on the IIA-IIW insurance framework. Knowledge of Enterprise Application Integration EAI methodologies.
