• Designing systems featuring Projection, Audio Video and Control Systems for commercial projects including but not limited to houses of worship, museums, restaurants, retail, special venues, theme parks, etc. • Perform proficiently with 2D and 3D video mapping tools/systems, complicated geometry, custom lens design and large-scale design and implementation efforts as well as with media content creation and programming. • Perform proficiently with industry design standards, AutoCAD to draft required documents a plus. • Provide detailed and pro-active Design Engineering for audio, video, digital media, infrastructure, IT, and control systems on assigned projects. • Review AutoCAD drawings in compliance with company CAD Standard specifications. • Determine technical requirements, draft technical overviews and specifications, and research products and obtain favorable pricing for assigned projects. • Create detailed technical and equipment budgets and spreadsheets according to company standards in order to meet project requirements. • Initiate and maintain proper design direction and meet scheduled deliverables per the needs of projects. Must be proficient at managing draftsmen, fabricators, and others on projects to maintain the design intent and superior quality. • Provide projection and a/v design support as appropriate to other members of the company to help ensure successful design, integration, training, and closeout of projects. • Provide projection and acoustical design services per the needs of the project. • Provide support to the Sales Department including, but not limited to, the creation of technical system order of magnitude cost estimates, proposed equipment lists and all written technical overview documentation to company standards. • For each design, provide deliverables including, but not limited to sound pressure level estimates, grounding details, cable requirements, equipment room layouts, power requirements, heat load data, single line flow diagrams, rack elevations, patch bay elevations (as needed), custom panel details, speaker mounting details, projector mounting details and geometry (as needed), and any other project specific deliverables as required. All documents will follow the company standards and practices outlined in the company Project Management Manual. • Work with the Project Manager to create system narratives used to define and detail projection, a/v and control systems and their objectives. • Configure Digital Signal Processing files for assigned projects. • Must complete all required documentation to company policy and procedure. Must be able to keep thorough records and documentation for all projects. • Field Supervision and/or commissioning and tuning in accordance with TMS Standards. • Other tasks and duties as assigned by Supervisor. • Manage projects in a proactive manner, ensuring that both the in-house team members and the client are always kept informed on the progress, challenges, impacts, changes in schedules, scope, and especially situations that may involve issuing a change order according to the project’s contract.
