This non-exempt employee will assist attorneys in accomplishing clients† goals by using organizational, analytical and communication skills. Position requires individual with the ability to conduct legal research and draft documents. Will also handle and coordinate filings, petitions, etc. Essential Duties1. Prepare and file petitions with a specific focus on employment based immigration applications.2. Compile and analyze case facts, draft correspondence, maintain and organize client documentation. 3. Prepare employment based non-immigrant and immigrant cases for corporate clients (e.g., H-1B, L-1A, L-1B, E-1, E-2, O-1, TN, Labor Certification (PERM) Applications, and EB-1/EB-2 Petitions). 4. Maintain and update docket to ensure timely filing extensions, petitions and applications.5. Respond to Request for Evidence and other legal filings.Other Duties1. Assist attorneys with speeches and articles.2. Attend CLE and courses to expand knowledge of substantive law.3. Perform other related duties as needed or assigned.
