Experience and Skills:

Supports the Clinical Support Services Coordinator at the site level in the ordering, maintaining, tracking, and administering of immunizations. Also works in partnership with providers and other clinical support staff to deliver safe, high quality patient assessment, treatment, and follow up care in an ambulatory setting. Prepares patients for examinations or treatments. Screens patients, assists provider during examinations, administers immunizations and administers, or dispenses, medications. High school diploma or equivalent (GED) and a graduate of an accredited medical assistant program. Certified by accredited certification body or qualifies to test (required at next InterCare test date), and obtains passing score. Requires excellent team-building, interpersonal, and organizational skills. Must be flexible to work some evenings and weekends.
