A Implementation Consultant is responsible for leading a team of PDI associates and customer project team members during customer projects of all sizes. This will include providing analysis, design, scheduling, construction, and delivery of solutions to meet the customer ’s and PDI ’s expectations.

Business, industry, and software knowledge will vary by individual and are generally considered Finance/Accounting, Fuel (retail, wholesale), Retail, Integration, and Technology. Implementation Consultant Requirements: The Consultant will work with clients on assigned projects to identify solutions to business problems and streamline processes. The principal consultant will follow current consulting project methodology and adhere to standard processes and procedures. Execute and close projects at or under budget Communicate internally and externally with PDI associates and customers Evaluate project resource needs Allocate and reallocate project resources and tasks Prioritize tasks Provide basic conflict resolution Project budget management Project teammate performance evaluation/feedback Use and maintain these basic documents: Issues List Timeline Project Status Reports Entering project notes in an assigned ticket in the CRM system Enter all billable and non-billable time in the time management system Use the time management system and designated intranet reports for time and budget management Mentor members of project teams for skill growth in these areas: System implementation Project management Industry knowledge Be a Subject Matter Expert (SME) in at least two PDI products Execute and complete assigned projects within the time, scope and cost negotiated with the customer Successfully document and migrate the projects to Customer Service (Support) Individuals assigned the role of Project Lead are responsible for ensuring the project management responsibilities are fulfilled emsp; Must be willing to travel The successful candidate will: Exhibit professionalism in appearance and work ethics Supervise, manage, lead Obtain and maintain a minimum ongoing average of 35 billed hours/week Meet or exceed the annual financial budget for this position Maintain a Project Management Professional© certification with the Project Management Institute Maintain customer survey satisfaction score of 8.0 or more for “Recommend Consultant ” Demonstrate leadership and respect for PDI policies, culture and fellow employees Demonstrate excellent written and oral communications skills Demonstrate excellent organizational and management skills Demonstrate excellent analytical skills Prove a willingness to commit the additional time and effort necessary during periods of heavy workload in order to meet project schedules and requirements Must have a general understanding of most PDI products with mastery of at least two PDI product suites/areas: Financial Wholesale Store-Level/Interface Retail Pricebook Technology Data Reporting GL FI DR DR PB Host FocalPoint AP OD POS IN DX Store SSRS CM CP Store Assistant IR RM Web Services SQL IR WI Shelf Label Print FI SA Host Queue Services AR AR OS Petronet SQL Proficiency with these software products: Microsoft Excel Microsoft Outlook Microsoft Project Microsoft Visio Microsoft Word Internal CRM system Internal Time Management system PDI ’s employee oriented culture provides a supportive and dynamic work environment for high achievers.
