some programming) is highly desired or willingness to learn Good communications skills are a must because you will need to able to present as well as interact with developers BAs PMs and Managers This role required 100 travel You will be at the client site from Monday Friday Our clients are located in NY Dallas Boston and Toronto Department overview The Enterprise Data Management (EDM) platform puts quality audited data at the centre of customer’s organisations Its solutions build gold copy masters across all data types delivering tangible data governance risk management and compliance frameworks and rationalising legacy architectures The EDM platform is the central hub for all transactions securities prices rates counterparty and issuer data EDM empowers those who understand the data to manage the data no matter the complexity volume or scope of the project Position summary An Implementation Consultant is responsible for providing a range of Implementation and Training services to complement the CADIS EDM suite through consultation with internal and external clients While the employee will be based out of the Dallas office the role will be one that is typically on site with the client Monday through Friday Projects can last on average between three to six months Duties accountabilities Takes the lead in all aspects of implementation at a client’s site Visits client sites and has detailed working knowledge of how CADIS products are supporting their business Maintains uptodate awareness of the current and future directions of the business industry and associated technologies Make recommendations for implementation of new systems and technologies where appropriate Provides consultancy to clients for business improvements Investigates and documents existing procedures Discusses proposed solutions for complex systems with customer Trainsmentorscoaches less experienced analysts and consultants Analyses and reviews new system functions and use of information in developing general specifications May develop functional specifications to define detail input and output file content systems functions system controls and performance criteria Facilitates client training and provides advice on operational issues Supports Management in strategic developments across the industry with particular reference to existing products Provides consulting services to customers including identifying needs developing influencing documenting and implementing proposals Recognizes opportunities for further sales potential Has ability to influence during discussions on proposed actions Has excellent commercial awareness to determine viability of proposals Participates in presales activity often demonstrating product functionality and proposed enhancements May act as a resource to assist project team in the Development andor Testing process Together with Project Manager establishes cost and time estimates for implementation May provide business requirements specifications on which to base development work upon Communicates with clients throughout the implementation project life cycle Supports the Project Manager on all business aspects and issues throughout the Implementation project life cycle May work as a Project Managerteam leader on small to midsize projects Interacts with clients and keeps appropriate management abreast of project issues Capable of quality testing the project deliverables ensuring they are in line with documented requirements Leads business handover meetings to ensure CADIS Support have a thorough understanding of the implementation Business competencies Education and Experience University Degree or equivalent At least 5 years experience of Asset Management or Hedge Fund Industries Significant experience in business analysisconsultants role Investment Management Certificate (IMC) or similar level vocational qualification Thorough understanding of the Project Management and Project Lifecycle SQL 20058 skills Commercial Awareness Strong commercial and industry awareness Management requirements Demonstrated experience in personnel management Set and manage expectations with stakeholders Build develop and grow any business relationships vital to the success of the project Understands the financial aspects of project management Personal competencies Personal impact
