Inkling is hiring an Implementation Manager to manage our enterprise content solutions. The successful candidate will define and manage content and technical engagements with strategic publishing partners. The Implementation Manager is part of the Content Operations team responsible for growing Inkling’s overall scale of content production.
The Implementation Manager will work closely with our publishing partners to build the future of digital content production and distribution. He or she will help define strategic objectives, find the product features and personnel necessary to achieve them, map out workflows and processes, and help deploy Inkling tools within client organizations.
This role will be Inkling’s point person on complex implementations and will translate requirements and capabilities across organizations.

Coordinate internal requirements for product features, back-list conversion, and enhanced / new content that achieve strategic objectives
Consult with publisher to define processes that adapt publisher skills and roles to Habitat, leverage product features on more innovative content, learn how they integrate Habitat with other systems, develop tracking milestones, and resolve risks
Project manage internal content efforts that may involve training and documentation, customized design, content architecture consultation, or communications with service providers
Skills and Experience:
6+ years of experience managing complex, multi-group, multi-disciplinary projects
Expertise in structuring goals and milestones, defining workflows, and planning resources
Experience writing Statements of Work that manage scope while delighting clients
Impressive communication skills, both verbal and written, with a strong persuasive ability
The ideal candidate will have worked as a Program Manager, Project Manager, or Product Manager within creative or technical fields such as publishing, software, or consulting
This role will involve frequent domestic travel.
