The Implementation Manager is the single point of contact responsible for the implementation of new products and services for the Underwriting Department. The Implementation Manager will be an integral part of the team and take an important role in driving strategy initiatives towards execution. Key work content includes crystallizing and documenting our department strategy and supporting entries into adjacent market segments, driving synergy within our department and across other Mercury divisions. They will be responsible for bringing information back to the team as well as communicating outward regarding team impacts and perspectives.
Own product performance. Collaborate with management, sales, application development, quality assurance, corporate compliance and others to create successful multi-generational roadmaps that align with long and short term goals of the company.
Manage Product projects from an Underwriting perspective. Collaborate with various internal and external groups to propose new products and enhancements that are on schedule and within budget. Monitor development progress and make priority calls and tradeoffs.
Track Market Conditions. Conduct baseline market analysis, competitive analysis and overall product research. Analyze relevant market and competitive trends and assess implications to gain competitive intelligence.
Act as Underwriting Product Subject Matter Expert. Engage internally and externally to both disseminate and aggregate total product knowledge.
Work in conjunction with all areas of the department to create processes and ensure they are documented completely, employees are trained and knowledge is transferred.
Work as an integral part of larger projects run by dedicated project managers.
Work closely with project groups to ensure projects are implemented on time and that delays and problems are communicated in a timely manner.
Manage day-to-day workload ensuring deadlines are met.

Proven track record of managing complex strategy projects inside a major corporation or top-tier management consulting firm
Proven skills in developing strategies in a hypothesis-driven mode, incorporating analytical proof throughout
Proven analytical and quantitative skills; strong financial and quantitative market modeling skills
Proven ability to build relationships at all levels within an organization
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Ability to handle multi-tasking environment, meet deadlines, and work with a wide range of sensitive and confidential issues
Education/Certification: Bachelor of Business Administration degree preferred.
Required Knowledge: Proficient knowledge of MS Office suite of products. .
Experience Required: Understanding of the bankcard industry with a knowledge of Visa/MasterCard regulations along with Previous Mercury experience in the Underwriting department with functional knowledge of processes and procedures is required.
