As the Hazardous Waste Technician you will be responsible for receiving waste from different buildings onsite at a customer location, verifying drum contents and preparing its contents for disposal. In addition the Hazardous Waste Technician will be responsible for all documentation and report writing involving the storage of hazardous waste and ensuring that waste is shipped out in a timely fashion.
Ideal candidates will possess:
High school diploma
1 to 3 years hazardous waste experience in lab packing or in a warehouse environment
Strong written and verbal communications
Must be able to lift 50 pounds and have a clean driving record.
Forklift experience and a 40-hour Hazwoper certificate are a plus.
