Bank of Oklahoma has an immediate opening for an InStore Branch Manager II in Bartlesville.
The InStore Branch Manager II is primarily responsible for product sales, the expansion and retention of existing business relationships, the development of new business, the management of staff (typically 6-10 employees) and operation of an InStore branch with moderate levels of revenue, sales and/or transactions (may also be responsible for managing multiple branches which will require travel from branch to branch throughout the day); coordinates the daily work flow, monitoring performance levels; responsible for motivating, coaching and training of the InStore branch sales force comprised of primarily InStore Bankers.
Manages the sales, service and operations functions of a supermarket location, which includes developing and implementing a program for business development, managing and maintaining customer relationships in a manner consistent with bank objectives for profitability and risk and authorizing transactions within approval guidelines.
Identifies, develops and recommends revision of internal standards, policies, operating procedures and new programs to improve efficiency; provides staff with clear and concise written guidelines; monitors branch staff activities for compliance with policies and procedures.
Supervises and develops assigned staff; exercises the usual authority of a manager concerning staffing, scheduling, performance appraisals, promotions, salary recommendations and execution of the bank's positive discipline program as appropriate; determines training needs within assigned market and coordinates the scheduling of staff; assists in training and development efforts of InStore Branch Managers in area as required or assigned by the Regional Manager.
Prepares and executes an operating/financial plan that will achieve the goals of the branch; coordinates in-store promotions, campaigns, giveaways and drawings for all locations in assigned area; coordinates and schedules in-aisle activities and develops scripts for the InStore public address system.
Discusses and identifies customers needs; sells a full range of retail products/services such as deposit accounts, retail loan services, credit cards, etc.; identifies cross-sell opportunities and refers customer and prospects to the Investment Center, Mortgage, Small Business Lending, Treasury Services, Trust, Commercial Banking, etc.; performs all teller transactions, receipt, disbursement and balancing.
Identifies, analyzes and resolves complex customer problems, account balance discrepancies and account inquiries.
Maintains prescribed security controls to protect the facility against criminal and fraudulent operations and unnecessary risk or exposure.
Represents the bank in the community to further enhance its image and to develop and promote additional business.
This level of knowledge is normally acquired through completion of a Bachelors Degree in a business related field and 3+ years experience in a management/supervisory capacity in a financial institution or equivalent experience of 9+ years.

Excellent interpersonal skills, including oral and written communication skills, sales and customer relations skills
Good math skills (addition, subtraction, multiplication, division) in order to reconcile accounts
Thorough knowledge of PC and various software programs

Sales aptitude/self-motivated/goal oriented
2 years experience in retail sales
Proven record of meeting or exceeding sales objectives
