The primary purpose of this position is to assist the
Credit Union in achieving its mission of becoming the
members’ financial partner and helping to fulfill their
life-long dreams. Your role to achieve this mission will
be to provide outstanding service to internal members
and under general supervision, and in accordance with
established policies and procedures, to provide a
variety of loan support services to the membership.
Processes loan applications by inputting data, gathering
information, calling members for follow up information.
Ensures compliance with legal requirements, lending
regulations and internal policies and procedures.
Support a sales and service culture.
Maintain a working knowledge of all services and
operations of the credit union.
- High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent.
- One year sales experience.
- One to two years office experience with a financial
processing is highly desired.
- Additional specialized or technical training in loan
data entry skills Verbal and written communication
- Basic math/accounting skills, 10-key calculator,
requires registration as a Mortgage Loan Originator
- Certifications/Registrations - This position
(MLO) with the Nationwide Mortgage Licensing System
(NMLS) and Registry on an annual basis in addition
to maintaining updates as needed. Initial
registration is required immediately upon hire into
this position. Failure to register or maintain a
current registry, or any criminal activity that
would bar continued participation as a MLO may
result in disciplinary action, up to and including
termination of employment.
