Position Details
Job Description
Cox Communications is looking for dynamic, customer-focused representatives to take calls from prospective residence customers, sell requested product/services, and up-sell for new or additional video, telephone, high-speed Internet, wireless services and accessories (as available).

Inbound Sales Representatives respond to prospective customer questions and requests while at the same time educating the customer and promoting Cox services. Representative works in a fast paced organization with the goals of maximizing revenue and achieving sales objectives by identifying and meeting customer needs and ensuring customers understand operating requirements of all products. The position also helps grow the company through promoting and executing current marketing campaigns and promotions.

Primary Responsibilities
Consultative Selling
Determine appropriate products and services for the customer by interpreting information about the customer's circumstances and interests in light of availability, features, functionality, and cost of Cox products and services

Describe and recommend Cox services to customers and respond to inquiries about products, while at the same time educating the customer and promoting current marketing campaigns and promotions

Promote Quality Customer Experience
Explain Cox policies and procedures concerning prices, billing and service to customers

Build customer loyalty through follow-up calls to customers if there is a problem or change in installation of services

Provide a seamless customer experience through documenting call details and new account information into the computer system and completing any forms required to request action by other departments

Drive Business Growth
Grow the business through turning customer calls into sales opportunities

Work in a call center environment actively listening to and questioning customers in order to understand their needs while simultaneously obtaining required account information by accessing customer databases or other electronic sources

Accurately perform calculations pertaining to fees, time periods, or dates that the system does not provide as necessary to maintain the flow of the sales pitch, consulting with a supervisor as necessary

Process new orders while adhering to all telephony guidelines, including keying required information into order entry screens and checking customer service screens to determine whether a deposit is required

Minimum Requirements
6 months work experience working in a position that requires meeting sales goals
6 months experience using a computer
18 years of age or older
Eligibility to work in the United States
