The Industrial Controls Engineer is responsible for preparing hardware, software, and field start-up of custom refrigeration computer control systems. Specific duties include:
· Creates/Modifies software and tests on simulation stations to ensure software matches hardware.
· Provides custom manuals.
· Coordinates refrigeration input/output requirements with control systems, as per drawings.
· Travels to jobsite and assists customer with start-ups. (30-35% Travel)
· Trains and educates customers.
· Supports/Troubleshoots existing jobs.
Ideal candidate will posses working knowledge in PLC’s (A-B/Opto22), PC’s, Windows OS, electrical controls and HMI programming (Wonderware/RsView/FactoryTalk). Four year degree preferred. Associate’s degree (E.E or E.E.T.) or equivalent from an accredited college, technical school; or related experience and/or training will be considered.
