Industrial Engineer Intern
Assist Senior Industrial Engineers in developing capacity analysis using process simulation software and improve product cycle times by implementing line balancing.
Responsibilities to Include:
Assist in proposal and quotation development in developing labor standards, analyzing variances to standards and flow rates and implementing improvement programs.
. Support Engineers in analyzing performance variances (labor, schedule, support, etc.)
. Assist in establishing/Maintaining labor standards.
. May assist in providing production estimates (labor, floor space, capital equipment, capacity, etc.) for proposal.
. Analyze process flows and assist in developing simulation models to maximize operational efficiencies.
. Support others performing line balancing for sensor assembly, PWA, and electromechanical final assembly and test areas.
. Assist in creating and implementing new Plant Layouts, including process flow diagrams.
. May utilize Lean techniques to implement cycle time measurement and reduction program.
US Citizenship Required.
Undergraduate currently pursuing a degree in Mechanical/Industrial Engineering
Minimum GPA of 3.2 or higher
The ability to work with others in a team environment is important.

Must be able to work a 40hr work week.
