Plans and oversees layout of equipment, office and production facilities.
Conducts studies in operations to maximize work flow and spatial utilization.
Ensures facility efficiency and workplace safety.
Relies on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals.
A wide degree of creativity and latitude is expected.
Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering, related field required
4-5 years of experience in the field or in a related area required
Must be familiar with a variety of the field's concepts, practices and procedures
Exceptional knowledge of Lean Manufacturing principles required
Must have experience in time and motion studies for several stations
Must have experience in line balancing
Four years of experience in Lean Six Sigma including certification preferred
Strong knowledge of Microsoft Applications including Excel and Access
