Support the execution of labor management software (LMS).
Collaborate with the warehouse management team to understand the objectives of each area.
Provide insight and guidance on warehouse staffing needs.
Guide and oversee the workflow of warehouse staff.
Act as project stakeholder when requested/required.
Initiate continuous improvement/lean concept, identifies opportunities for improvement and makes constructive suggestions for change.
Gatekeeper for all process changes within a campus, ensures that Warehouse Management System configuration aligns with all approved process mapping.
Confer with vendors, staff, and management personnel regarding purchases, procedures, product specifications, capabilities, and project status.
Collaborate with all levels of warehouse management to develop a thorough understanding of productivity/LMS results by discussing these reports with them on a regular basis.
Background in Lean and 6Sigma methodologies.
At least five year of experience in Engineering field.
Familiarity in observing, receiving, and otherwise obtaining information from all relevant sources.
Experience with compiling, coding, categorizing, calculating, tabulating, auditing, or verifying information or data.
Examples of applying statistical methods and performing mathematical calculations to determine manufacturing processes, staff requirements, and production standards.
Coordination of quality control objectives and activities to resolve production problems, maximize product reliability, and minimize cost.
Experience with statistical data and product specifications to determine standards and establish quality and reliability objectives of finished product.
Knowledge of business and management principles involved in resource allocation, production methods, and coordination of people and resources.
Bachelor of Science/ Industrial Engineer preferred
Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel (must be intermediate level or above) and PowerPoint.
