Goodman is seeking a professional, skilled individual for the role of Industrial Engineer for our Fayetteville, Tennessee Plant. Responsible for quantification and improvement of manufacturing processes, cost reduction and quality improvement initiatives, processing and implementing engineering changes and introduction of new products on time and within budgets. Industrial Engineer

Responsibilities:
Plans and oversees utilization of production facilities and personnel in departments
Works closely with other engineering disciplines in the development and application of robotics to increase production quality, efficiency or volume.
Analyzes statistical data and product specifications to determine standards and establish quality and reliability objectives of finished product.
Plans and establish sequence of operations to fabricate and assemble parts of products and to promote efficient utilization
Coordinates quality control objectives and activities to resolve production problems, maximizes product reliability and minimize cost
Applies statistical methods and performs mathematical calculations to determine manufacturing processes, staff requirements, and production standards. Performs / implements classical IE work such as line and work element balancing, time studies, labor efficiency and work flow improvements; Plant floor layouts, updates, and improvements.
Leads / supports Plant methods and processes such as PFMEA, 8D root cause & is/is-not problem solving, capability & capacity studies, control plans, OMS & CTQ document management, etc.
Performs routing and BOM analysis and work for engineering changes and interacts closely with design engineering on product engineering changes / implementation. Develops relevant labor and machine measurements to support MRP system
Maintain plant floor layouts, updates, and improvements. Create operator method sheets to assure production rates and quality. Maintain method sheets as product or equipment specification change.
Develops manufacturing methods, labor utilization standards, and cost analysis systems to promote efficient staff and facility utilization. Performs capacity planning and provides solutions for cost cutting through process upgrades.

Qualifications:
BSIE/MSME is required
Minimum 5 years experience
Previous experience as an Industrial Engineer functioning in a high volume manufacturing plant required.
Ability to use logic and an
d reasoning to identify the strengths and weaknesses of alternative solutions, conclusions or approaches to problems.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Good knowledge of OSHA (Federal & State) and EPA (Federal & State).
Proficient in Microsoft Office
