The primary responsibility of this position is to assist MPW Operations through process analysis and re-design. This position will also develop project plans that can be re-used within the company, develop work instructions for each job where none exist, identify opportunities to improve job efficiency and ensure that the inventory and work environment are organized and well managed.
Analyze processes and look for ways to improve safety, efficiency and cost.
Breakdown work efforts into logical project phases and document that project plan into a project management software.
Create and document detailed work instructions for each specific activity.
Observes best practices and includes them in procedures.
Communicates best practices to be shared throughout corporation.
Evaluates and audits that operation is following procedures and that controls are in place for managing invenetory on site or at branch office.
Looks for ways to continually improve the process.
Performs other duties as directed.
Bachelor of Science in Industrial Engineering, Project Management, Logistics or other related fields.
PMP credentials a plus.
Associate degree with appropriate experience will be considered.
1-3 years of experience in dealing with operations planning a plus.
Strong technical/mechanical skills.
Candidates should have proficiency with all MS Office applications.
Hands-on ability is a must.
Experience with project management tools.
Professional oral and written interpersonal communication.
