Industrial Engineer will be responsible for driving improvement projects as well as working on cross-functional teams to commercialize new and innovative products.
*Continuous improvement efforts will focus on making sustainable gains in productivity, quality, cost, delivery, safety, and innovation within the Jonesboro factory.
*Methods for achieving and sustaining improvements will be based on TPM fundamentals.
*Collaborate closely with division, factory, and other internal customers to achieve project objectives.
*Responsible for carrying out assignments of a broad nature while exercising considerable judgment and originality.
*Ability to carry out appropriate financial analysis to validate/support proposals and gain support of key stakeholders.
*Performs independent evaluation, selection and application of standard techniques, procedures, and criteria using discernment and ingenuity and minimum supervision in making minor adaptations and modifications.
*Initiates projects that improve Productivity, Cost, Quality, and Safety.
*Acts as a resource for designing, implementing and training on new techniques and procedures.
*Generates projects to reduce labor, food, packaging and other costs. Assists in solving problems requiring statistical and applied mathematical analysis. Performs and summarizes time studies and work sampling studies, and uses other accepted forms of work measurement, as necessary, to establish and/or maintain manning requirements for direct and indirect labor jobs. Performs job-level task analysis, as requested.
*Ensures the generation of accurate factory performance and trend reports including but not limited to: line efficiency, line performance, changeover effectiveness, capacity utilization, waste and rework.
*Facilitates continuous improvement teams to instill a total quality, continuous improvement culture throughout the factory. Supports the new product development process by developing labor and capacity cost estimates. Travel may be required at times for training, other business needs but is expected to be minimal.
BS degree in Industrial Engineering or related degree required
*Minimum 2-5 years experience in food manufacturing required

*Strong project management skills, including use of Microsoft Project or equivalent
*Demonstrated interest in business strategy formulation and analysis
*Strong Analytical and Problem Solving Skills, Communication skills, verbal and written
