Develop, implement, and project-manage formal cost reduction processes that incorporate Lean, Six Sigma, and Industrial Engineering tools. Project-manage new product and product change initiatives across Operations functions to ensure timely and efficient completion of these project initiatives. Develop and continuously improve production planning, manufacturing, and supply chain execution processes to optimize the effectiveness and efficiency of the value stream.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Implement advanced methodologies, processes & technologies and align change efforts with business goals & strategies
Identify and manage Industrial Engineering & Productivity Improvement Projects.
Project-manage new product and product change initiatives across Operations functions.
Continuously improve production planning, manufacturing, and supply chain execution processes.
Improve processes through bottleneck and material flow analysis; optimize plant layout, use time and motion study, problem solving techniques, and throughput analysis.
Analyze and design the sequence of operations and process flow to improve efficiencies in plant and production facilities and equipment layouts; and establish methods for maximum utilization of production facilities and personnel.
Conduct studies pertaining to cost control, cost reduction, inventory control, and production record systems. On the basis of these studies, develop and implement plans and programs for facility modifications and revisions to operating methods.
Manage manufacturing activities related to DFSS (Design for Six Sigma) including DFMA, Gage R&R, Value Engineering, and Capability Analysis.
Perform other duties as assigned by Management.

Educations and/or Experience:

B.S. Degree in Manufacturing, Mechanical or Industrial Engineering.
Minimum five years’ experience as an Industrial Engineer.
Project management experience utilizing MS Project a strong plus.
Lean and Six Sigma training/certification a strong plus.
Must be resourceful and independent.
Ability to read and interpret mechanical drawings.
Proficient with Microsoft Office software, Word, Excel, Project, Visio.
