Identifies accurate and specific process requirements to establish new and revised activities in order to develop time study data and/or apply predetermined standard data for labor standards as a basis for work measurement.
Perform observations of job methods and physical layouts. Collects supporting historical data and input from personnel to establish the basis for labor standards.
Conduct studies applying predetermined time systems or time study data for new and existing work activities to establish labor standards for performance and work measurement reporting. Maintains the accuracy of labor standards through periodic audits of job elements, preferred methods, and frequencies.
Works with area supervisors to implement standards insuring established methods are properly applied and understood as intended.
Maintains the accuracy of labor standards through periodic audits of job elements, preferred methods, and frequencies.
Maintain accurate Engineering Department records of all studies, evaluations, and recommendations.
Assists with the orientation and training of newly hired and temporary production staff.
All other duties as assigned.
High School Diploma, Technical Degree.
Prior experience in methods improvement.
Able to document a process.
Proficient PC skills in Microsoft Office.
Can stand, walk, or sit for extended periods of time.
Strong Math skills
