Johns Manville is hiring two Industrial Maintenance Technicians to be located in Oklahoma City, OK. The Oklahoma City, OK location manufactures roofing products for the commercial roofing industry. The plant was built in 1962 and manufactures built-up roofing felts. These felts consist of a fiber glass sheet which is coated with a grade of asphalt. This sheet is then cooled and made into rolls. This material is used as part of a roofing system for industrial and commercial roofs, which have low slope or are flat.
The Industrial Maintenance Technician will need to be open to working any shift Monday through Friday with the opportunity for overtime.
A shift will be determined based off of business needs.
An evening and night shift will offer a shift differential rate.
We offer a starting hourly rate of $22 an hour with a pay for skills program in place that could increase your hourly rate as early as 6 months from your start date.
We also offer a continuous improvement pay percentage, which equates to a potential bonus of 6% annually.
Lastly, we offer a competitive benefits package, which includes medical, dental, vision and 401K.
Benefits start the first of the month after the 90 day trial period for this position.
Ability to perform most routine preventative maintenance as related to basic wiring, motor control, hydraulics, and pneumatics.
Must be able to troubleshoot electrical, mechanical hydraulics, and pneumatics.
Basic fabrication skills and welding are required. An understanding of machinery and equipment related to industrial manufacturing is required.
Must have a general assortment of hand tools and know the use of other tools and equipment common to maintenance and electrical work.
Demonstrated knowledge of electric welding and ability to use oxygen acetylene cutting equipment is required.
Knowledge of PLC is a plus.

Experience in an industrial/manufacturing environment
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Computer Literate (SAP knowledge is a plus)
Ability to stay organized and meet deadlines
Proven history of safe practices, working knowledge of lock out/tag out procedures
Education Requirements are based off of level of education and experience.
