All America Threaded Products, Inc is a privately held, established and growing steel manufacturing group, headquartered in Denver, CO. Our Mid-West Division, in Indianapolis IN, is seeking an experienced hands-on plant maintenance manager to perform both strategic factory equipment design & installation and repairs. The position requires daily hands-on equipment modification & maintenance work on metal forming production equipment, in addition to managing, coaching and mentoring production staff relating to machinery operation.

Expectations in this role include :
Hands-on installation, assembly, re-building, repairing, upgrading etc. of production machinery in order to eliminate waste and improve efficiency. Design of safe & cost-effective production equipment, equipment modifications, tools, jigs and fixtures. Extensive experience & skill using shop tools & fixtures, hand tools, welding, machining and electrical equipment. Participation in planning & analysis processes regarding factory lay-out and equipment optimization. Understand and follow electrical, mechanical and hydraulic/pneumatic applications. Create and lead a productive PM system that encourages full operational efficiency. Supervise, manage and mentor production staff in their operation of machinery.

Requirements & Skill Sets Necessary:
Must have hands-on experience 5-7 years in a metal fabrication environment /industrial plant. Knowledge of threading machinery, and DSC machinery equipment highly desirable. Physical ability to lift, push, pull, turn, etc. heavy equipment parts & tools, up to 100 lbs. Electrical, Pneumatic and Hydraulics applications experience for

facilities and equipment, wiring and diagnostics Ability to proactively work safely in a metal forming factory environment. Self-motivated, Self-starter, Cross Functional Team Player Problem Solving, Process Improvement & Project Management experience. Communications and Organizational Skills + Decision Making and Analytical abilities Proven Problem Solving and Project Management abilities Leadership & Business Acumen Multi-Tasking ability paired with Computer skills – Microsoft Office College Degree and/or appropriate Technical certifications preferred. Ability to function in a Hands-on capacity within a management mindset

This position reports directly to the General Manager- Plant Operations.
