Must have a current Secret clearance with an investigation date within 5 years and be able to obtain a Top Secret clearance upon employment. Strong interpersonal skills are a must. Must be able to communicate with Executive-level leadership.

Strong written and verbal communications, interpersonal relations, and analytical skills are required. Candidate will be required to apply business-minded and risk-managed solutions to DoD security issues and business challenges, and be able to communicate observations and recommendations to leadership and enterprise business partners. Desired skills Advanced computer skills, public speaking, and communication skills. Knowledge of JPAS, SIMS, and security clearances. Understanding and knowledge of NISPOM, JAFANs, and Overprint. Specific Job Description Perform duties as Contractor Program Security Officer (CPSO) for one or more Special Programs. As the CPSO the candidate will be responsible for all aspects of security to include personal, physical, technical,
and classification management utilizing the requirements set forth in the JAFANs, the National Industrial Security Program Operating Manual (NISPOM), the NISPOM Overprint, DCID6/9, and others as applicable.
Duties also include completing Program Access Requests (PAR), classified meeting support, program management support, and security education. Knowledge of computer and communications security a plus. Standard Job Description Develops, and administers security programs and procedures for classified or proprietary materials, documents, and equipment. Studies and implements federal security regulations that apply to company operations. Obtains rulings, interpretations, and acceptable deviations for compliance with regulations from government agencies. Prepares manuals outlining regulations, and establishes procedures for handling, storing, and keeping records, and for granting personnel and visitors access to restricted records and materials. Conducts security education classes. Investigates security violations and prepares reports specifying preventive action to be taken. Security Clearance Top Secret Typical Minimums Bachelors degree from an accredited college in a related discipline, or equivalent experience/combined education, with 3 years of professional experience; or 1 year of professional experience with a related Masters degree.
